IAABO Litchfield Board # 7

The purpose of this board shall be to unite in the membership of this organization all fully qualified basketball officials residing in Litchfield County and Burlington, Connecticut and to create a greater amount of good fellowship and cooperation among the members of this Board...

To establish and maintain the highest ideals of sportsmanship in connection with the game of basketball...

To provide for the training of new officials and to help develop among all basketball officials a definite responsibility as to their knowledge of rules and conduct of the game as officially adopted and published by the International Rules Committee...

To encourage every official to sensibly enforce all rules of the game, both in letter and spirit.

IAABO Board No. 7 is recruiting referees to officiate boys and girls basketball games for the 2011-2012 season.  Candidates must be residents of Litchfield County or Burlington, CT.

The association will hold rules clinics at Fairview Farm Golf Course in Harwinton starting in October 2010 for new officials.
